The band Coldplay has been making efforts to make their concerts more accessible for fans with disability. On their current tour, the band has begun offering a device called a SUBPAC, which is a wearable audio system that allows people to feel the bass through vibrations.
“Music is waves,” drummer Will Champion said. “You can hear them but also feel them as well.”

The band also now offers local sign language interpreters, sensory bags, sensory refuge stations and touch tours for blind guests at each of their shows on tour. These efforts have been very positively received, with one hard of hearing fan saying; “All of the accessibility for the community is very exciting,” he said. “Coldplay means a lot to us.”
