In today’s rapidly advancing digital world, staying connected and embracing technology has become more important than ever, especially for seniors. The Australian Seniors Computer Clubs Association (ASCCA) is at the forefront of this movement, dedicated to bridging the digital divide and empowering Australian seniors to confidently navigate the digital landscape.
What is a Digital Mentor?
A Digital Mentor is someone who empowers others to feel comfortable and confident while using technology, such as computers, smartphones, and the internet. Being a Digital Mentor is about being a supportive teacher, not necessarily a tech expert.
Your Opportunity to Make a Difference
If you’re passionate about helping seniors embrace technology and want to play a role in decreasing the digital divide, ASCCA’s Digital Mentor program is an excellent opportunity for you. You don’t need to be a computer expert; all you need is the willingness to support and empower others in their digital journey.
ASCCA is thrilled to announce its upcoming face-to-face session, scheduled for Perth in September. The session will provide valuable insights and practical guidance to build your confidence and skills as an effective Digital Mentor.
