Co-created by the Centre for Accessibility Australia (CFA Australia) and the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC), a new free six-module course on digital accessibility is being launched on Tuesday the 4th of June. This course, supported by the Department of Communities WA, aims to address the diverse challenges individuals face when accessing digital content.
Participants in the course will gain comprehensive insights into accessibility issues and is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to ensure their digital content meets legislative and regulatory requirements.
The six modules include:
- Understanding Inclusive Design and Accessibility
- Business Case for Inclusive Design
- Legislative Requirements
- Analysing Accessibility of Business Documents
- Creating Accessible Microsoft Office Documents
- Creating Accessible Creating Accessible PDF Documents
Delivered flexibly online over eight weeks, the course provides a solid foundation for anyone interested in making digital content more inclusive and accessible. B
Moreover, for those who wish to further their education, this introductory course is part of a larger, 24-module micro-credential program offered by UniSC.
