The recent digital accessibility workshop in Busselton, hosted by Dr. Scott Hollier and supported by the Department of Communities WA and City of Busselton, was a resounding success!

The free event, held at the Busselton Community Resource Centre, brought together individuals, business owners, and employees from various sectors to learn about implementing digital accessibility in the workplace.

Participants gained valuable insights into practical accessibility techniques, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standards, legal compliance, plain language guidance, and the future outlook for accessibility with the emergence of AI.

The event emphasised the importance of digital accessibility as a social imperative and strategic business move, capable of enhancing brand reputation, broadening reach, driving innovation, and minimising legal risks.

Stay tuned for upcoming workshops!
