Google Chrome’s latest Android update (Chrome 130) introduces the “Listen to This Page” feature, enabling users to listen to web pages while multitasking.

This feature allows audio playback to continue even when the app is closed or the screen is turned off. Users can control playback through quick settings, adjust speed from 0.5x to 4x, and choose from 10 different voices.

The “Listen to This Page” feature significantly enhances digital accessibility. Users who are blind or low vision can navigate web pages more easily through audio playback. Additionally, users with dyslexia can benefit from listening to text, which facilitates better comprehension.

Multitaskers can also enjoy hands-free browsing, boosting productivity. Language learners can take advantage of variable playback speed and multiple voices to aid language comprehension.
