Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Brayco, Centre for Accessibility Australia has donated 80 laptops to individuals with disability across Australia, with a commitment to donating 100.
One of the recipients of these laptops is Louise, a determined young woman who has overcome significant barriers to pursue her dreams. Living with severe scoliosis, Louise has shown remarkable resilience and determination. With the support of Maxima, an employment services provider, Louise secured a job at a local cattery and later moved to Nobblestarzz Breeders and Boarding Kennel, where she works with Border Collies.
Her passion for animal care led her to enroll in a Certificate II in Animal Care Services, followed by a Certificate III, with the ultimate goal of becoming a vet nurse.
The donation of the laptop has been a vital tool in Louise’s journey, enabling her to study and pursue her career goals.
If you have a disability or are a family member or carer and would like to receive a laptop, please email admin@accessibility.org.au.
