The Centre for Accessibility Australia is excited to announce the return of the Australian Access Awards, for 2023.
The bi-annual event first made its debut in 2019, and is a national celebration of organisations, designers, developers and content creators who pursue accessibility in their digital spaces.
The Awards recognise and celebrate the efforts towards digital accessibility over a range of government departments, educational institutions, corporate companies and not-for-profits.
“Accessibility is a social movement,” says CEO of CFA Australia, Dr. Scott Hollier, addressing the vital role the Awards play towards the goal of creating systematic change for people with disability, “We look forward to continuing to be able to recognise best practice through these awards.”
The call for nominations will commence on the 18th of May, 2023, coinciding with Global Accessibility Awareness Day. This will be the third Australian Access Awards event, for CFA Australia.
