This Monday, 18th November 2024, Centre for Accessibility Australia (CFA Australia) hosted a free workshop on Business Essentials for Digital Access at the City of Perth Library.
This event was part of a series of digital accessibility workshops supported by the Department of Communities WA. Led by Dr. Scott Hollier, an accessibility specialist, the workshop aimed to equip individuals, small business owners, and employees of businesses, not-for-profit, and government organisations with the knowledge and tools needed to create inclusive digital experiences.
Participants gained valuable insights into practical accessibility techniques, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standards, legal compliance, plain language guidance, and the future outlook for accessibility with the emergence of AI.
This workshop was part of a series of digital accessibility events for the City of Perth. Stay tuned for more upcoming workshops!
