On the 23rd of July, Centre for Accessibility Australia (CFA Australia) hosted a successful workshop on digital accessibility in Geraldton, led by Jenny Carvalho.
With over 5 years of experience in advocating in the disability employment sector and lived experience of neurodiversity, Jenny shared valuable insights on creating inclusive digital platforms.
Attendees explored best practices, tools, and techniques for accessibility compliance through engaging presentations and hands-on exercises.
The event took place at the Geraldton Multipurpose Centre. It was successfully coordinated by Yen Nguyen, with support from Intern Jasmine Lee and photography by Senior Digital Media Co-Ordinator Nicholas Kapirnas. CFA Australia’s CEO, Dr. Scott Hollier attended, and the workshop was made possible thanks to the Department of Community WA’s sponsorship.
Stay tuned for future workshops!
