Publisher SelectaPlay has announced plans to incorporate enhanced accessibility features in the upcoming release of Dark Atlas Infernum, developed by Night Council Studio. Scheduled for global publishing on Xbox and PlayStation consoles, as well as PC via Steam in 2024, the game aims to broaden its appeal to a diverse audience of gamers.
In a bid to improve the gameplay experience for all players, the developers are introducing several accessibility features. These include a guided movement system, allowing players to select destinations from a menu with automatic character movement. Additionally, the game will offer audio description capabilities, providing auditory descriptions of in-game scenes via a bot, along with sound subtitles.
Furthermore, Dark Atlas Infernum will include subtitles, colourblind filters, and a stereo/mono system, ensuring accessibility for players with varying needs and preferences.
With these new accessibility features, Dark Atlas Infernum aims to create an inclusive gaming environment, catering to a wider range of players.
