The Perth Web Accessibility Conference is back in 2025!

Scheduled for Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at VisAbility in Victoria Park, the one-day conference will bring together an impressive lineup of local and out of town speakers to share their expertise on the latest trends and best practices in web accessibility.

The conference program features a diverse range of topics, from accessible aesthetics and policy to artificial intelligence and plain language.

Keynote speakers Jun Pataleta and Dipendra Manocha will set the tone for the day, followed by presentations from specialists in the field, including Amanda Mace, Ann Knettler, Lisa Fletcher, and Tim Damen.

Joining this year’s schedule are two speakers from Centre for Accessibility Australia who will be sharing at the conference. Bryan Benjamin will present on the “Cancellations For All” project, while Laetitia Thompson will explore the intersection of art and alt text in her presentation, “Accessible Aesthetics: The Intersection of Art and Alt Text.”

Tickets for the conference are now available online through Humanitix, with options for both in-person and online attendance.

Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with experts and like-minded individuals, and to gain valuable knowledge and skills to enhance your own web accessibility practice.

We look forward to seeing you at the Perth Web Accessibility Camp 2025!
