The Australian Seniors Computer Clubs Association (ASCCA) is hosting its annual conference on Tuesday 10th of November 2020 and registrations are now open.
This year the focus will be to shine a light on the positive changes seniors have made and can make to adapt to the world they live in with a big emphasis on content that is actionable for the audience. Viewers will hear from a wide range of guest speakers including Charlie Brown – one of Australia’s leading commentators about lifestyle and technology and leading global technology brands discussing trends for living your best online life. Dr Scott Hollier, CEO of CFA Australia will also be presenting and sharing tips and tricks on accessibility features in popular computers and devices.
The conference will be held virtually by secure zoom link. Taking advantage of the online format, viewers will be able to connect to the conference from any connected device in the comfort and safety of their own homes for a price of $15 (plus booking fees). The conference will be streamed live and there will be a second stream enabling audience members to access a series of pre-recorded content from interesting speakers.
ASCCA is Australia’s peak body for empowering Australian seniors through technology, and is supportive in ensuring seniors with disability are able to actively participate online.
